Fabulous Friday!!!
We began the day with our Open-Minded
winners!! Khaliya was awarded the Open-Minded certificate from our class!
Next we wrote our spelling test.
Then we had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we had Music.
When we returned, we reviewed our
understanding of turns and slides. Then we learned about reflections:
We also learned how to use a Mira to
understand that a reflection creates an image of a figure on the other side of
a reflection or mirror line.
Next we worked in partners to create
reflections. We used pattern blocks and put them on side of the reflection. We
then tried to figure out where the exact shape would go on the other side of
the reflection line; we used the Mira to ensure we were correct.
Then we worked on some questions related to
reflections.
After second recess and lunch we worked on
our summative project.
