Marvelous Monday!

We began the day having French with Mlle. Jessica.

We then worked on our spelling words.

Next, we had physical education with Mr. H.

When we returned, we continued writing our Spelling work.

Following first recess and lunch, students presented their healthy living guide in groups. Students explained the foods they eat (ensuring to mention what food group they belong in) and the exercise activity performed each day.

Fantastic Friday!!

I want to say a special thank you to all of our volunteers! You were all such a wonderful help!!!

We began the day with our trip to Loblaws. We got the opportunity to make our own healthy meal!! We made a calzone, muffins, and salad. Watch us cook!

When we came back to school, we wrote our spelling test.

We then read a story that helped us better understand the learner profile for the month of October, Knowledgeable. The story was about a boy who felt as though he was not able to do what the other children could do in the story. All the students around him were knowledgeable about a certain activity or topic and he felt as though he was not. Finally, he showed the others how he could use chopsticks to eat and his teacher and friends were amazed with this skill. The boy felt proud that he was able to do something so well and that he was able to teach his teacher and friends how to use chopsticks. He gained the confidence to learn from his friends how to do other things, such as tie his shoes. We then worked on an activity where we discussed how we are knowledgeable.

Following second recess and lunch, we had a catch up period.

See you all on Monday!! Students are able to come dressed in their costumes!! We will have a fun Dance party at the end of the day!!!!
